Fairy Girl

fariy01

So when I was in Little Tokyo I bought a small anime figure.  The first one I’ve ever purchased.  She’s a part of the Range Murata PSE 3.0 collection.  If you don’t know who Range Murata is, he’s an anime artist who incorporates futuristic and art deco elements in to his art and is probably best known for the Robot illustrated comic series and his other art books.

Anyway, his concepts are so outstanding that they get made in to statues and this is one of them… and so… on with the pictures.

Door to door

So the other day we get someone at our door asking if we’re looking to have our driveway resealed and our lawns taken care of for the season as this company is in the neighbourhood doing just that.  Right off the top I’m skeptical.  I’ve been suckered in to this before.  We have this company patch and reseal our driveway the driveway at our old house and they did such a crap job it wasn’t worth the money we paid for it.  I was so pissed…

I told my wife not to agree to anything until I talked to him and saw what he had to offer.  The next day he came by again and he walked and talked me though the process that they do and they make sure that we agree to the work before they leave.  I talked to my wife again (who feels the same as I do) and we agreed to try them out.  They’re going to come by and seal our driveway, patch up the cracks and rough spots in June or July.

I hope I’m not going to look like a fool again.  I’ll let you know how it works out.  What would you have done in this instance?

the science of boobs

Science it pushing forward with new, potentially safer, ways of breast enhancement.

The technique is as follows… stem cells are taken from the woman’s thigh or stomach and implanted in to the mammaries where they join the breast tissue and increase the size of the breast. Apparently there are all kinds of “pluses” to having the procedure. The new breasts will feel more natural, being made of the same fatty tissue and it’ll also help promote the growth of new blood vessels. Yes, it’s that simple.

This procedure has actually seen success in Japan where it’s helping cancer victims that have had mastectomies. But in the coming months it’ll be tested in clinical trials in Britain to see if it’s a viable alternative to current breast enhancements.

I guess there are down sides too. This will only increase the volume of the breast tissue but not the firmness or the lift. Also, don’t expect you breasts to get super huge. The results are only modest right now, but scientists are confident that they’ll be able to increase breasts by a whole cup size. It also takes several months as the fat and stem cells mixture are made up in batches and injected over time.

Should all go well though, doctors are saying this could be ready for the public in about 6 months and cost about $9,600 US dollars.

Brings new meaning to “keep your hands of the merchandise.”

the end - post 366

366 posts. One more for the last years leap year. I did it. I made a post every single day (every day that I could anyway).

I honestly wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it. I figured I’d fizzle out at some point because, honestly… sometimes it’s hard to fill a post when you can’t think of anything to talk about. So many evenings I’d surf for hours looking for something interesting in the realm of video games and/or naughtiness if nothing exciting happened to me that day. But I pushed on. I usually filled the gap with question posts like “What did you have for dinner” and in all honesty… those where some of my favorite posts. I loved reading the comments ^_^ It really brought me in to a little bit or your life as I brought you in to mine. I think now at the end of this you all out there should know more about me then you’d probably like to. Maybe even more then most other artists.

So what am I going to do now? Well, I want to have a contest/scavenger hunt with all my posts and have the prize be a commission. Probably ten questions and people will have to hunt thought all 366 posts to find the answers. I also want to update my blog and have it so I can have threaded replies to posts. I would love to get more traffic at my site too. I really love Danny Choo and what he’s done to get high traffic and create a community at his site, but I doubt I’ll ever get that popular. Plus he does it for a living. I’m also plugging away at commissions. I haven’t dropped them… keep watching your email and I’ll let you know when I’m on yours.

But I guess the question is… will I continue to make posts? Probably. Before this I hardly ever made a post about anything. Now I’m not afraid to get on and say what ever. It might not be everyday, but want to keep it often. It’s fun and I like reading what people say in return.

And so with that… I say good night to you people.

Until next post.

who’s watching me - post 364

You know… sometimes I wonder just who you people are.  Oh, I know that you are all unique individuals and all that… I mean… is there anyone of popular status out there looking at my art?  Maybe Mr. Joshua Jackson from Fringe likes to take a gander at my work.  Maybe Robin Williams or Dexter Holland from The Offspring.  Who knows!  I’m pretty sure that none of these people would come out and admit who they are and that they like what I draw, but it’s fun to think that these people are out there… maybe looking at my latest piece.

and maybe leaving a comment ^_^

poop - post 363

Today I finally got an opportunity to clean my backyard of all the dog poop from over the winter.  I’d have to say this is the only part about winter I hate.  Every year I tell myself “Self, I’m going to go and be very diligent about picking up after my dog this winter”.  For the 4th winter in a row now, I’ve let myself down.  My wife also has failed but then she has to watch the kids and can’t be running out side every time the dog needs to crap.  Plus when it snows, you can just say “good bye” to what ever is out there because you’ll never find it.

It sucks and what’s worse is that I feel super bad because the kids can’t go out and play in a poop filled yard.  We usually take them to a park or a hill or something, which is where they usually want to go anyway even when the back yard is clean. o_O

Anyway, I’m glad I got it done this morning because it started to rain by about lunch time. And if it sucks picking up a whole yard of dog poop, then is super sucks picking up wet soggy poop.

Yeah… what a crappy day.  Ba-dum tss!

12 hour boner - post 362

Let’s set this up. You (the guy) have a bet with two lady friends who think you can’t pleasure them for a whole 12 hours. How much is the bet? Oh… let’s say around $4000 bucks. Do you take the bet? Do you think your man enough to keep things going for half a day? Well, one man in Russia did and he made such a bet. Mr. Sergei Tuganov, 28 and a mechanic by trade, thought he’d help his odds though by ingesting a whole bottle of Viagra!

So did he win? Well, he did complete the challenge, but then dropped dead of a heart attack minutes after. So… is that a win? What do you think? One also wonders how much lube they would have have to have used. I mean, the human body can only manufacture so much natural lubricant. I think I would have used toys instead of drugs while my own body rests up.

What isn’t mentioned is if the two ladies in question where actually satisfied during the whole 12 hour sexcapade. ^_^

BOOM! - post 360

So… is your computer chair made in China? If so you could be sitting on a bomb. Think I’m joking? Well tell that to the 14 year old Chinese boy that had the gas cylinder at the base of his chair (the one that help to raise or lower the chair) explode. Oh wait… you can’t because he’s dead. Yup, the explosion from his chair sent metal shrapnel in to his rectum and, unfortunately, he bled to death.

How horrific is this story? I can’t imagine having this happen to myself let alone come home and find my child a victim of such a freak accident. But let’s stand back for a moment. Could this really happen? Is this just an internet “story” making the rounds? In the pictures after the above link I don’t see any blood on the seat and if I follow the source links I just keep being taken to blog to blog and news post to news post with the same pictures every time. It’s a scary story for sure, but is it true? After thinking about it for some time I can’t come to a conclusion if it is or not. What do you think?

If it is true, my heart goes out to the family. If not… then you’ve fooled me again interents.

This sounds like a job for the Mythbusters!

it’s not my birthday - post 359

It’s my son’s birthday and today he turned 2.  Yay!  He’s so much fun and happy and he just makes me smile to be around… now if he could only sleep though the night.  ^_^

So what did we do today?  We went to McDonald’s for treat lunch.  We don’t go often so the kids liked it.  They had a Happy Meals (with apples) and then played them self stupid in the play area.  Then we all came home and I had a nap with my son since I was crazy, fall on my ass tired after staying up late painting his painting.  And what was the result?  He didn’t seem too interested in it really, but that’s okay.  He’s 2 so his priorities are a little different then mine.  It’ll be a nice keep sake when he’s older.

So over all… it was a pretty good day.

^_^
