Rosetta was the fairy voted to be drawn for the month of August by the Patreon crowd. I simply adore this southern belle garden fairy, but then again… I’m such a sucker for red heads. It can be so hard to pick a favourite. I mean… it’s not like you have to pick just one. I think I like all of them for different reasons. Except for Vidia. She’s my least favourite. It’ll be interesting to see when I have to draw her.

For this last one, I decided to try a more cell shaded approach. It came out quite well. I always like to make odd pairs with the characters I draw rather than the standard one. I think they’re more fun. I don’t think many would expect Rosetta to be in to Bobble. ^_^

Style change! I really like the chalk/pastel look so I wanted to give it a try. I think it came out quite nice. It was fun experimenting with different brushes. ^_^

Something different happened over at my Pateron this past month. Instead of doing one super rendered painting, I asked the supporters if they would like to see several pieces of art with a simpler art style. It was decided to give it a try and the results have been great. For the month of August I was able to do three pictures instead of just the one. I even got to experiment with different painting styles that were quick to do. This is the first I got done. Oh… I should mention that Rosetta was the topic for the month, so I even got to draw more fairies than I usually do. Enjoy! ^_^

Last month was my birthday so I got to pick the character for the month. I went with my favorite southern belle fairy Rosetta getting more than she bargained for with her vines. Not a bad pick I would say. ^_^

I let the Patreon community offer their ideas for the next characters I should draw up. Lots of fantastic ideas. I should be able to pick more than a few from the list. This time I went with the suggestion of Rosetta and her beau Sled. I’m quite happy with the way they look very much emotionally tied to each other rather than a sex romp. Makes it hotter in my opinion.
