I'm still missing WWOEC as well. Hard to believe it's been a year. I think I'll light a candle.

I miss it, too. I'm grateful that we still have a place to post our work with minimal restrictions...but it's still a long way to go.

I just retired for good when it went down. One thing to celebrate and one thing to miss, which I do.

Anyone that dedicated time to WWOEC can't help to miss it. It had everything.

One year passed, and there's still no signs of Simpsons erotica community reviving.

I hate Cobra now for what he has done. He has devastated the Simpsons xxx art's future. And Simpsons pics were something I really needed to continue. I'm a dedicated fan; I don't care about most of the cartoons/canons around. Something that was the most precious to me, something that was alive during WWOEC times... is apparently dead now.

THAT wasn't very nice. Cobra had severe heart problems. There was a reason for giving up the site. He STILL has problems, and I hope he gets better, but I doubt it. He didn't own that site jut to make YOU happy. Why didn't YOU take it over if you were so concerned about keeping up the Simpsons art ?

No hobby is worth jeopardizing your health and well-being for.
Cobra made the correct call for himself. It's just a shame he didn't make it in a way that allowed the community to survive in its absence.

Exactly; the way Cobra did it, didn't allow the Simpsons community to survive. That's what I meant above, and that's how I feel.

Don't get me wrong Roger, when Cobra was running WWOEC, I admired and appreciated his work (even though I was just a lurker there). But when Cobra has changed his opinion about WWOEC, I've changed my opinion about him. Not very nice you say? Perhaps so, but it's sincere.

Re: "Why didn't YOU take it over" - because there's nothing to take over anymore. It's destroyed.

Although, I see a new Lisa Simpson pic in another thread, right now, maybe that's a good sign?

I miss WWOEC too. It hurt but it was not the end of the world. It has been a year and we are still here. It isn't WWOEC but the folks here have provided a home for we poor lost sheep. I'm grateful.

I got it. Sorry, Sunny, I didn't read that the way you meant. It's tough on me and the rest of us, also. I sure miss Lisafest and the other Simpsons art. I'm glad I saved as much of it as I could.
