What’s you passion?
…
If you’re not sure what you’re passion is that’s okay. Maybe you haven’t discovered it yet, but don’t worry. You’ll come across it some day. You’ll know it when you come across it too. It’ll must likely be something you love to do or something you love to be a part of. It’s something that you rarely get tired of and you just want to improve every time you do it. Oh, it’ll also piss you off when others do you your passion wrong or just don’t get it ^_^
Me? My passions are my family, my art and video games. Now I’m sure that the last one seems out of place but really, you can be passionate about anything. I love games and everything about them, playing them, the creativity that I put in to them, see how others make their games and getting members of my art team jazzed about out project. I’m very lucky to be able to have my passion and my work be the same thing.
So I ask again.
What’s you’re passion?

I can’t stop drawing!
Seriously. I just can’t stop. After a looonnnggggg dry spell I’m just getting idea after idea. I’ll draw on and then there’s another idea right behind that one. I’m working on several pics at one time actually. Commissions, trades, personal ideas… I just can’t put my stylus down. I’ve even found that if I draw and sketch right in my tablet PC I can get pics done faster. I still do real pencil doodles though. Why just today I drew random squirrel girl during a meeting. Nothing perverted , but I won’t tell you what since I think I’ll turn it in to a finished piece.
Man, I haven’t felt like this in a long while. I’m not sure what changed ether. What I do know is that I feel like I’m doing the best work I’ve ever done and I’m only just starting. I’m like an art sponge. I’m constantly studying others techniques to learn more. I’m making my own brushes or downloading new ones for PhotoShop to get new results. Maybe it’s that I actually feel creatively fulfilled in at this new studio I’m at. What ever the reason I feel like I’m an art machine… in a good way… and I like it.
I love it ^_^
So if I own you a picture there’s a good chance it’ll be done soon. So keep yer eye’s open ^_^

I’ve come to realize that other people’s children bug the hell out of me. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say that it’s the kids really but a mix of the kids and parenting that they might be getting. See, when we have people visit us I see their kids as… not monsters… but.. ummm… annoying. Most seem to lack the discipline that we have with our kids. In our house there is no talking back, there is no crazy behaviour, there is respect and discussing one’s feelings and thoughts to get points of view across and absolutely no violence. My wife and I both believe this to be great ways to make sure our children grow up to be respectable, logical adults. Now that’s not to say there is no outbursts, crying and screaming at times. Nor are we all happy 100% of the time, but we see it’s important that after the screaming and such is over then we sit down and talked about how we felt at the time when we where angry, apologize if we where wrong (parents included) and discuss things so situations aren’t left unresolved. Again, things aren’t perfect all the time, but it works.
Other peoples kids… are more chaotic it would seem. I’ve had other kids throw toys down my stairs, not share things, hog the play set out side from my kids, run though my house and mess up every room and everything they can get their hands on. I’ve seen children almost four eat more messily then my one year old. Most kids don’t listen to their parents and the parents seem to lack control (again, I’ll state that we’re not perfect ether), and it’s hard to discipline othe kids in your home when the parents are there. Because those parents are the rule makers and I shouldn’t have to watch other peoples kids, but I feel I do have to make sure the children know the rules of my house.
Sigh… kids will be kids I suppose. But every time I have other kids in my house I’m griding my teeth down to the gums and chewing on a bloody tongue as I watch the lack of control.
Oh well, once they leave I know I’ll appreciate my kids all the more and believe my wife and I are doing the right things for them…
I hope ^_^
