Ahhhh… pretty much though September and the air is getting cooler and I love it. Summer is nice, but I’m more of a winter person. I like the cold. I like the snow. Not just because I have allergies and I can’t wait for the first frost. I’ve just always preferred the cold to the heat. Fall is nice and all. The colours, the smell, but nothing compares the crisp crunch of fresh snow. The silence of the world as new snow falls to the ground is something I always look forward too. I even love to shovel it ^_^ It’s a ice mindless task at the end of the day. I usually lose myself in thought as I do it. I don’t think I could move to place where it didn’t snow.. I would miss it too much.
Soon.
First fall and then winter.
Soon.
What is your favorite season?

Somethings just can’t be green. I try to make sure that most of my products are organic and/or have no harmful stuffs in them. Well, some times that doesn’t equal a great product.
My example is deodorant. I’ve tried so many natural ingredient deodorants it’s crazy and none of them work. In some cases I found that I smelled of B.O. even worse after using it. In another case I actually took a stick with me to work and found that I had to reapply every 90 min or so… and I still stunk. Others gave me rashes… I actually gave up and tried to go with out any at all to see what happened. I couldn’t believe how bad I would stink. I mean, I sit in a chair all day. It’s not like I’m out running around the city! Geeez… So I gave up for now and switched back to a regular brand.
It really does suck when you try to support a specific brand or make of products and you find that they all suck. Oh well, I guess I just have to keep searching. I’m sure I’ll find something some day but until then I’ll probably have the largest crap deodorant collection in my bathroom.

So I just got done watching this show called Fringe. Our creative director was talking about it today and said it was the new X-Files. Now I don’t watch a whole lot of tv so I just sort of let the info go in one ear and out the other. I don’t have time for tv anymore. But this evening I sit down and my wife told me about a new show called Fringe and how it’s sort of like X-Files and maybe we should check it out. It might be good.
I guess I should stop and say that I was a HUGE X-Files fan back in the day. I actually got my wife (then girlfriend) hooked on it too back in the day. Every Friday we got together and watched it… that and Sliders ^_^
Anyway. So I watched Fringe. It was pretty good. I thought the characters where interesting. It left open questions the way the X-Files always did, and I loved that. I really liked the way the editing was done. Very nice. I especially like the basement science vs big science they hinted at.
I think I’ll stick around to watch more and see where it goes. Anyone else watch it?

little hamster must have fallen asleep as I couldn’t make my post last night. Sorry folks. Here it is now though.
So a few weeks ago I found a new art pile on the internet. It’s called
Pixiv. It’s like the Japanese equal to DeviantArt or, imagine if DeviantArt was all anime 24/7. You have to sign up to get to the artists stuffs, but honestly, when you do. I found that the art, design and colours are wonderful. No photography from what I saw. It’s just all drawings.
Oh, one way this place is different from DA and more like here is that they have a whole adult (+18) area for art. But unlike here they have to censor the naughty bits ^_^.
So I’m going to try it out and see what happens. See what Japan thinks of my stuff. I fumbled my way through the sign up this morning and I’m interested what kind of feed back I can get.
Yay! Another art pile to add to the er…pile.
Oh, I must also thank people for the feedback on the gallery. It’s been pretty good, but not with out it’s bumps. Depending on your screen size my captions get cut off. People miss being able to right click and save and some people can’t run flash.
I think that I can get a version of the gallery to run imbeded in an html page. I might give that a try. Also, if you right click on an image you can open it in a new window and save it like that. As for those that can’t run flash? I’m not sure. I guess I can keep a side gallery of all the work with out all the bells and whistles. I’ll probably keep a look out for other galleries too. If I come across a different one that I like more I might make a switch.
Change is good, and thanks again for the feedback ^_^
