Rod's had a Few?

Question:

I noticed in the first and third panels that there seems to be oval shaped objects floating in front of Rod's eyes. I take this to signify that by this time in the story Rod has had enough brews to start feeling the effects. Yes?

Sister, the Ex, and Alexia seem the most likely candidates; then again, there could be a total surprise and it's his mom.

What's a Girl Like You Doing in a Place Like This...

I'm thinking it's the ex-girlfriend that dumped him, harshly, two years or so ago that put him in the funk that makes some question his sexuality. Remember, according to V.Kyrie, Jo does not think Rod is gay, nor does Jim according to Cheetah (Rod, questions, comments thread, posts #3 and #4), although Jim seems to delight in teasing Rod about it because of Rod's seemingly lack of interest in female companionship since the dumping. Jes a theory...

"Sister" was what came to my mind first, too. And we know Rod is the middle of three children (Cast Bio), however, I failed to find a reference to his sibling's genders after a quick archive-dive.

Then there is always the "Alexia is Moonlighting" theory...

It's his sister, isn't it? Heheheheh...
