For my birthday yesterday I was presented with a piece of fan art.  Yay!  I don’t get fan art all that often.  Actually pretty much never.  So when someone gives me some, I really appreciate it and I want to show it off for others to see.  So I can’t say thank you enough to Scificat.  Your fan art of my random squirrel girl is super cute and was a great surprise. ^_^

This little lady with the wardrobe malfunction and the animal issues would be the second part of the 2 4 1 commission offer I did a while back.  To the recipient of this and the Jersey Devil pic, I truly enjoyed doing these commissions and I hope you are happy with the results.

So the other day I got to wondering, how far back does erotic art go?  Which artists in history produced erotic artworks.  I’m sure that this sort of stuff goes back a long way.  I mean, before you could get porn on just about every device out there, if you had a hankering for erotic pictures… someone had to draw them.  Until someone invented the photograph that is.  I wonder how erotic works where viewed way back when.  What was considered a tasteful nude and what was just plain ol’ smut.  What was smut called back then?

I’m going to look in to these erotic artists during history.  I want to know more about them and I’m going to share my findings here.  Once a month (starting in Feb) I’ll be making a post showcasing an artist and some of their works.  I’m very much looking forward to this to be honest.  I think it’ll be fun to learn about this naughty passion that I have and see where it’s been though out history.

When I do commissions for people I usually give them a collection of rough poses to pick from.  One is the winner, the others are left behind.  Sometimes I’ll reused those poses for others commissions if I feel they can be made in to a strong image.  Those that don’t make the cut are forgotten.  Until now!  Here is a gathering of unpicked poses from commissions that I’ve done.  See any you like?  I hope those out there enjoy them as I do, because I love to see the rough works of the artists I follow.
