My Weekend At A Furry Convention

I don’t really know what this is doing mixed in with video games and industry news, but I’m down and gave it a read.  It’s the story now how the journalist (Patricia Hernandez) 

How many of you attend the cons that pop up during the year?  I’ve only been to AnthroCon twice and once briefly to Condition so see Max Black Rabbit and friends.

I’ve recently become the owner of Mario Kart 7 for 3DS.  I’d like to set up a time to pit my skills against others that also have the game.  I’ve set up a community called Joe’s Race Dump.  The community code is 03-5218-8720-0442.  Any one up for a race?

As I mentioned before, I’ll be at Disney on my birthday.  Which means we have to fly there.  Well, not really I suppose.  We could drive, but that’s just extra vacation days I’d be wasting.  But regardless, we will be flying.  Knowing that makes me kind of nervous.  I’m not petrified or crippled with fear, I’m just a bit uneasy about it.  I’ve flown before.  I flew to California for E3 a few years ago, and we flew to Disney the last time too.  I know people do it all the time, but I still don’t care for it.  I’m afraid that the plane is totally going to fall out of the sky.  If I where in a car accident, it would be quicker, but in a plane I’d have to sit there and wait for the impact… and my death.  I won’t let it get to me though.  I won’t let me fears being me down in any way.  Besides, I’m sure everything will be fine… I hope.

Anything make you nervous?

I run my blog through WordPress, and this year they sent me a Year End Review.  Cool!  It has neat info on it like, my most popular post, who’s commented more, how did people find me and where are my visitors located.  It looks like The US has the most visitors with over 140,000, while China had only 16.  Iceland had none!  Also, I should brush up on my Korra smut because it’s one the searches people used to find me.  Sadly, I’ve not drawn any so I hope they weren’t disappointed.  Follow the link above if you have some time.  It’s pretty neat. ^_^

Holy crap!  I today I just realized I’m less than a month until my birthday (Feb 9th)!  Less than a month until I’m 36!  I find it strange to think that I’m getting close to 40.  I don’t feel my age at all.  I draw cartoons and play video games, which is a far cry from what my Dad was doing when he was my age.  One thing that will be super special this year is that we’ll be on our family vacation when it’s my birthday!  Woo!  Vacation birthday for me!  “Where are you going” you might be asking.  Well, I will be at Disney World when my birthday comes around this year.  I hope they give out cool birthday stuff. ^_^  I can’t wait, it’s going to so much fun.  I’ll take lots of photos to share when I get back.  We don’t leave for about two weeks though, but it’s getting closer every day.  Yay!

Have you been to an exotic location when your birthday rolled around?

So after 19 people entered my free commission contest, one was picked.  Thank you all so much for taking the time to travel around my blog looking for answers.  I wish I could do commissions for everyone that entered.  I hope you all had fun, I know I did picking which posts would make good questions.  Frankly, I’m surprised that people where able to find some of the answers as easy as they did.  I thought I picked pretty challenging ones to be honest.  I was going to make the scavenger hunt span any and every post on the blog, but I changed my mind and only did the past year.  I’d like to do this again from time to time during the year, I just need to think up other types of contests to run.

Thanks again to everyone that entered!  Now I have to go and cut those questions and answers from all the posts. ^_^
