I probably should have included this in yesterday’s post, but what the hell.. What was the first bit of toon smut you ever saw? It’s a bit hazy for me, but I can narrow it down to one of two instances.
One memory is of looking through an animation/comic industry magazine and I came across a multi page article for Omaha the Cat Dancer. Now, the article didn’t show anything, but the thought of cartoon sex and nudity… well, I was totally hooked. I never did get to flip through an actual issue of Omaha until I was in college (the comics above are those issues), but the local comic shop in my home town had them when I was a teenager. Oh how I wish I could have flipped through them!
The second memory is… well… my porn. As I mentioned, the first cartoon smut I ever drew was of Betty and Veronica. The thought for that came from some of the stories in the Archie Digests I used to get. I remember reading one where Betty and Archie where at a swamp and they fell in. The both got undressed to clean off (separately) and so you just knew that Betty was nude under that water. Also, Betty and Veronica where always sporting some pretty skimpy bikinis in the summer issues. Jose and ♥ Sabrina ♥ helped out a lot to form this fetish too.
The first time I actively sought out toon vag was in college and it was of Sailor Moon, whom I still have a crush on. That was also the first time I had access to the internet.
I’m not sure if Omaha was first or my own drawn porn was. That’s the fuzzy part. So, what was your first toon time?
I did a guest pic for a different site this year. What was the site and who was the pic of?

Why do we like naughty cartoons? It’s sometimes strikes me as a bit odd. Most people would just laugh thinking that it’s funny. Some I’ve known are disgusted at seeing cartoon pron. Others just question why anyone would want to look at it. But there are those of us that really enjoy it and find that it fits with who we are and what we like perfectly. But why? Why do you like it? What make is it so appealing to some of us?

So the other day I thought I lost my 8GB thumb drive. I was seriously loosing my mind over this. I know I had it at work because I saw it in my bag, but when I sat down to draw that evening… it was totally gone! I quietly freaked out in my head so as not to draw attention to myself as I rooted through my bag. No amount of rooting fount it though. Holy crap! What if some one found it? There’s all kinds of art on there that I’m sure the average person would find… questionable. Random Squirrel, Tinkerbell folio stuff, Chipettes… you name it. Lets not forget any ref material I have saved on there too.
I got lucky though. The drive was still in my bag. I got itself wedged/hidden under a fold in that section. Phew… I was so happy, you have no idea. I had no idea what I would have done if it really was lost. It’s not like it has my name on it or any other kind of contact info. I guess I would just have to write it off as a loss and move on.
Have you ever lost a thumb drive… or worse a thumb drive with pornz on it?

And with that… summer is over. Well, not really. I know it still goes on for a few more weeks, but the Labour Weekend is usually seen as the end of summer. People are using the long weekend to have one more camping/vacation trip before things get serious with school and coolers months. So how was yours? I think my summer was… hectic. Lots of things happened at my home. Mostly in the form of home renos of some sort. There where some times we got away though thankfully.
One thing that I’m disappointed about was the lack of drawing I was able to do. It really kind a sucked to totally honest. But things are getting back to normal. I’ve been back in to my Tinkerbell folio after many months and it feels good to do so. I’ve mostly been correcting and adjusting the pictures I’ve inked already. So I guess it kind of worked out for the better because I feel like I’m making crafting this to be a better product in the end.
Did you get around to playing any games during the summer? I downloaded Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force for the 3DS. Both are great titles and worth the money for sure. I find they’re great to play if you have 1o min to spare from time to time. Much fun. I also played and finished Sola to Robo just recently. I really enjoyed the production value in this title. They really went all out to make it a full world in which to play in. I did feel the combat was a bit shallow, but it didn’t kill the experience for me. I loved following the story and the characters.
So how was your summer over all? Busy? Lazy? Glad it’s over or wish it would never end?

So it’s the last weekend of the summer and I thought it would be fun to squeeze in one more summer time craft. Luck would have it I found just the perfect one. Apparently, if you take some pool noodles, duct tape and electrical tape you can make foam lightsabers! I instantly thought… I have to make those. So this weekend I tracked down some noodles (which was hard because they’re out of season), bought a fresh roll or duct tape and set to work. What you do is measure the center of the noodles and cut them in half. Then take your duct tape and cover the bottom of one of the your noodle. Then measure up a good amount for the handle and wrap strips of duct tape around and around until you get to the bottom. Then decorate the handle with the electrical tape and you’re done! It’s so easy and so cool too. Plus it’s way too much fun beating the crap out of someone with a foam lightsaber.

Look here for more detailed pictures on how to make them and yes… I know. I need to cut my lawn.

Holy crap have my allergies kicked in this past week. All I want to do when I’m not sneezing my face off, is rub and scratch the crap out of my eyes. I’ve had people tell me that this year could be very bad for allergy sufferers like myself. I guess all the super hot, dry weather we’ve had this summer has let the allergy weeds grow very well and the other plans not so much. Wonderful. I’m bad enough as it is. I don’t need extra help with not sleeping because I can’t breathe at night during this time of the year. So I guess the next few months will be sinus hell for me. So if you’re out there suffering with fall allergies like I do, don’t worry, we’re in this together.
The first frost can’t come soon enough… ugh.
