So last night I wake up in around 2am to discover that I’ve slept on my arm a little funny and now it’s “fallen asleep” as the saying goes.
I’ve done this before in the past from time to time, but this last night it was probably the worst it’s ever happened. I woke up, realized what had happened and tried to roll over to let the blood flow again only to find that my arm was completely useless. Totally dead. I couldn’t move it nor feel it. Wonderful, now I don’t know how many have tried to do this but if you’ve ever tried to roll over and not use one arm- no scratch that, an arm that is dead and hanging off you… it’s hard. You basically can’t put any weight on that side of your body at all since you have no support at all over there and you’re pretty much just dragging this dead appendage around. It sucks, but what even worse is when the feeling start to come back.
I buried my face in to my pillow as the feeling start to rush back to my arm. I’m yelling and laughing all at the same time while trying not to wake my wife. It seemed like forever but it started to dull down so I move some fingers and see if the worst has past. Nope, pain and tingles run up all my fingers and over my hand as they come back to life from near death.
Oh man… it took for ever… I hope I didn’t do any damage to my arm. I need that arm to draw.
I’ll have to watch how I fall asleep tonight and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Sometimes… I want to draw smut at work. I mean right in the middle of the day. Just want to stop what I’m doing and paint filthy, filthy things.
Today was one of those days.
I was doing some Japanese lessons on my laptop when I came across a rough pic that I started a while ago but never finished. Couldn’t really figure out what to do with the base idea really. Then my imagination flooded with things that I could do with it to make it more complete and post worthy. But… I’m at work. Damn. This sucks.
We do have a small conference room I sometimes do my Jap lessons in if I want it to be more quiet and so I’m not distracted by the internet. I wonder if I could sneak away in there during the odd lunch and doodle my smutty little drawings. It wouldn’t be on company time… nor would it be on a company work station.
maybe…
Naw… I should play it safe and only draw it at home.

Holy crow! I made it to 50 posts… o_O
It’s not that I really though I wouldn’t make it to 50 posts, but I did think that most of these posts would be filled with nothing of any real interest. So far it’s been not bad but they can’t all be winner though. I mean the indie game:passage post only has 2 comments on it but on the opposite end the first post and the So Canadian post have the most comments on them. I actually write all these posts in advance during my lunch (or at the end of the day) and I have a bunch of topics lined up in case I’m strapped for something write about… and their mostly posts about my favorite things or artists. I guess that at the end of all this you’ll totally know everything about me and I’ll still know nothing about you guys. ^_^
Now on to regular stuffs. Looks like I’m going to PAX. I’ve bought PAX ticket but I still need to buy my flight and book a hotel. I’m hoping it’ll be fun. I’ve been trying to make it to a game convention for about 3 years now… It’s almost a running joke as of what will prevent me from going each year. So let hope that everything works out this year.

Just thought I’d pop in for some talk about the last picture I did. The bondo bunny one.
Some people think that it’s Gwen. Sorry to disappoint peoples but it’s not. In all honestly when I was thinking up the original sketch I just used a bunny as default since I loves bunny girls and she sorta stuck – she doesn’t even have a name. ^_^ I wanted a character that was a bit shorter, thicker and squishier and not so skinny. She came out pretty good, nice and cute in my books, although you can’t see all of her body in that pose. ^_^ Her colour was a real challenge. She started out brown but I didn’t care for it. Then I tried crazy colours like purple and such. Suck… I finally decided on a creamy colour since it should make her look more innocent in the subject matter. To go along with that I tried to keep the colours soft and warm rather then cool but I did through in some green to attract the eye and move it down the page. I think it worked out well.
Thank you everyone that commented on it as well. I don’t do much comic stuff since my writing is absolutely horrible. Hopefully I can keep this one going and have it make sense ^_^ It’s nice to have a challenge like this too because laying out comic pages isn’t my strong point ether. I have other ideas for comic stuff too so this should be good practice for me.
Since this is my first try at it I might make this one an online folio for all to see and share. Don’t expect a page a week though. I’m not even sure when I’ll start the next page… I’m not even sure if the page I posted is going to be the first page o_O Anything can change really. If anyone has tips I’ll listen to them.
When it does go up though in it’s final form I’ll let people know ^_^ as I mentioned this is just a sample/test to see if I could do this sort of project and to see if it’ll generate interest.
Wish me luck ^_^

I’m on a HUGE homemade bread kick.
Just about every weekend I’ve made at least one loaf with our bread maker and I love it. I don’t think I can go back to store bought bread again. ^_^
So far I’ve made a whole wheat (actually, I made one every weekend regardless), cinnamon raisin, maple raisin, apple sauce and tonight I did my first experimental bread…
An orange chocolate loaf. Mmmmmm… ^_^ I love orange chocolate anything.
It came out pretty good, but it could use some tweaking.
The best thing about the homemade bread is that I know everything that went in to it, plus I use organic ingredients. So in the end I have a homemade, organic loaf of bread. Oh, yeah ^_^
What’s even better then organic homemade bread?
Organic homemade toast ^_^
