The series is 10 years old already. I thought it was great. The action scenes were amazing, better than any other cartoon I had ever scene before. (Samurai Jack S5 didn't exist yet) What the writers did with Kimmy was fantastic. I love it when stereotypical characters turn out different from what everyone expected. I also like how she almost immediately got sick of the cliche "I have to go to the bathroom" excuse. Usually it takes a lot longer.
Seeing it for a second time now, it is really obvious that Lance's father is the leader of the Galactic Guardian Group. The last episode makes it very clear that the leader is Galunian, and who else from Galaluna could it be? Furthermore, the space bridge seems to send everyone to Earth, so then Lance's father must be on Earth.
I wish there were more episodes, but Genndy Tartakovsky said somewhere that this is never going to happen
