I like the new stuff.

It improves yet does not overwhelm. Just little personal touches to make things neater. Do we need them? no. Do you spoil us? Yes.
Are we grateful? YES.

well the name quoting never stoped working for me so i was fine the whole time :P

the mouse over first post/last post mixup is still happening, at least in certain areas i havent checked everywhere.

and in a marginally related topic, on the galleries page the title bar has the "Archvies" spelling, like the main page used to have, may want to make a quick adjustment there

Fixed the spelling, as for the quotes never stopping gor you, you likely have HTML disabled in your options...

Hmmm... I've given these changes a little while to sink in now, and to be honest, while I like some of them, for instance - I like the new "Thread Description" option and I think the "Advanced Polling Options" is good as well.

However, despite these alterations which are great, I personally find some of the other changes a little obnoxious.

I'm not a fan of the constant "new message" reminders.
I don't want to have to go into every single thread in every single section to make the incessant blinking cease, only to have to do it again and again every day.

I liked it better when the threads I wasn't interested in looking at would stop blinking when I closed the window, instead of blink forever more until I click them.

Also, I'm not a big fan of the Roll-over "First & Last" window either, simply because it's distracting... and backwards.

All in all, I had never had a problem with the forum the way it was before. The more noticable changes have only resulted in creating a slight annoyace to me, what with the constant flashing of new messages, OH GOD! THE FLASHING!???!?!

The positive changes I mentioned above really don't apply to me either, as I'm not one who is constantly creating new threads and any info I do happen to dole out relating to myself I manage to keep in the one thread I already have.

So that's my 2 cents.
You can't please everyone all the time I expect, myself included.

I'm always signed in and they don't go away UNLESS i read them... it's kinda annoying if I'm not really interested in whatever the topic is about.

Especially if it's a busy topic.
