I just had an Anthrocon...
Then a migration to Canada...
Then a marraige...

I've been tossing ideas with some peeps, and so far the general idea is to probably push TJA Artist Appreciation into January. This is mainly cause
A)we were intending to expand it out to an actual week-long thing instead of just one day.
B)With the current art contest going on, I don't want to cause conflicts of interest.
As of right now, I'm thinking of slating TJA Artist Appreciation Week starting January 14th and ending on the 20th. It's a nice chunk of time that doesn't compete with any major holidays or contests. It's just past the Christmas crunch, and not yet emo enough to hit Valentines. Plus it gives everyone (hopefully) proper advance notice.
Since this is only the second time doing TJA-AAW, it's still pretty open for ideas. I'm thinking perhaps in future times of starting maybe some themes (like super-heroes, or Mardi Gras) or maybe doing some games and mini-contests during the week. Small fun stuff.
But that's the plan so far...unless anyone has any major complaints.Comment
