    Hi all,

    whats the latest movie you saw and what did you thinkb about it ?

    the life ofw david gale
    i thought it wasq quite predictable. maybe i'vi seen too many kevin spacey movies tho. other thenn that it was ok.

    If you're talking about the latest movie I've seen in a movie theater, that would be Superman Returns.

    Overall, I thought the movie was pretty good and I intend on getting it on DVD when it comes out (that is, if my step-brother doesn't beat me to it).

            Casino Royale.

            I thought it was fantastic! I was iffy about Daniel Craig being cast as 007 at first, but after this movie he's definetly got my approval.

            The only major thing I had a problem with is Judy Dench as M.

            While I don't have a problem with her character, I find it strange how Casino Royale is Jame Bond's very first mission after becoming a 00 agent - but the character she plays is not introduced until the movie "Goldeneye" which is the 17th Movie in the series.

            This creates a major discrepency in the timeline... of course, the fact that Casino Royale was adapted so it takes place in this modern era could throw the timeline off a bit as well.

            I think simply casting the M role as a Male character would have been a good fix even with the whole taking place in 2006 thing. (which I can overlook)

            Overall, I think Casino Royale is a great Bond Movie.
            You simply have to forget (or put aside for now) every other Bond Movie you've ever seen and think of this movie as a completely 'new' beginning to a new 'series'.
