Kinda would make sense if you're in a Gym or going against the Elite (so they can point and laugh after a professional Gym Leader gets curbstomped by a kid), but when you're way out in the wild grass/ocean or taking down the newest criminal terrorist orginization one grunt at a time?

I like that idea of an audience watching you battle, especially when you use big Legendaries like Primal Kyogre/Groudon, Mega Rayquaza, Xerneas, Yveltal, 100% Zygarde or Hoopa Unbound.

I'd figure that this is the appropriate thread with the very recent re-release of the original Red, Blue & Yellow games.

If any of you guys downloaded them, which one? Why? And what was your first Pokémon memory?

Since I need a new one, I plan on getting the special Pokémon 3DS bundle with Red and Blue already preloaded.

And since Blue was my very first Pokémon game, I will be playing that one mainly.

Personally, I bought Blue since of fond childhood memories. The earliest time I can remember was in 1998; I was 10 and had just gotten picked up by my mother from an after-school program I attended at the YMCA. She told me there was a surprise in the car waiting for me and to go look, I rushed out to our '84 Monte Carlo (quite the awesome ride) and on my front seat was a Blastoise staring back at me in addition to a new Game Boy AC Adapter, 'cause her friend worked at a KB Toys.
