i have a lot of problems with dust. i live next to a gravel road and when the wind is right the stuff seeps through the walls. my room also happens to be the closest to the road (closest bedroom anyway) but hey its got the best views

Scarlet needs friends, Think they'll get along?

Well, this place has the heading "Scarlet and More" so here's the 'More' part of it. Remember back last week or so I said I was thinking of a friend for Scarlet? Well I was doodling and I came up with these two characters.

They are really rough, and definetly need to be defined, I was just wondering how they stack up initially.

They have no DEFINETE names yet; though for the Kangaroo, I was thinking "Bleu" for obvious reasons: it rhymes with kangaroo, and she has Blue Hair. Yes, it's supposed to be spelled "Bleu" cause it's french. Although I might not go with that cause Scarlet herself already has that name/hair thing going and I don't want to start a pattern...

The Lizard (though what kind of lizard she is is beyond me) I was thinking "Chamile" pronounced KA-MEAL, cause it's like Chameleon, right? Either that... or Liz. and that just sucks I think. Liz Lizard. *Yawn*

So what do you think?

I dunno, I kinda like that name/hair thing you suggested for the roo , by spelling her name the French way you can get away with it

But I can't say the same for the lizard's name, guess your on your own there

I think those characters will come out great when you've fine-tuned and polished them up

Very nice work, I'd have to say that i like the kangaroo more though, but both are real good . I have to agree about the name hair thing. The novelty of it is actually not bad at all. They'll also be easy to remember if they go along that line. I can't wait to see how they turn out when you refine them more!

Mmmh, with all honestly I like more the lizard. They way that her crest fall over her face is just so sexy... But the roo looks so enticingly innocent... I wonder if they are up to be drawn like Scarlet

If you did decide to go with the name/hair theme, I think "Viridity" might be a neat name for the lizard (since she's green, of course). I also think Bleu is a cute name for the roo. I like the roo's aborigine-esque markings, and the lizard's little membrane crest is definitely a nice touch. They'll make a lovely and sexy trio! *applaud*

Viridity... Interesting, but what's it mean?

It could be "Vi" or "Vira" for short too.... well maybe.

Also, I think Bleu will be sticking as the Roo's name. It's kinda how I named Scarlet too, She didn't have a name and I was just going through colours that were Red, and thus I ended up with Scarlet, because of the whole Squirrel thing.

The runner up for Scarlet's name was 'Rose'. Maybe I'll name her Mother or Sister that, whenever I get around to inventing a family tree for her.

"Family Tree".... Hmmm, there's a Comic title if I ever heard it.

Sounds like it's all coming together! Are we also allowed to do fanart of these new girls? (Like I need to know, I haven't even gotten Scarlet drawn yet )

Though, these are early versions, I might tweak them here and there before long. Also... I might make them some outfits as well.
