I've been talking a bit about an outside project I was involved in recently, but I had to remain tight-lipped about it. Well, I can lift a tip of the veil at last: I've been involved as a character designer and scene artist for an upcoming indie Ero-game called Inyou: The Fall Of Amy. This "visual novel"-styled erotic game is being developed as we speak and a demo should become available this Summer.

Now, just to clarify: I am not the creator or developer of the game. In this case I am just an artist for hire, as it were. I want to be clear about this, because the content of the game and my art for it are fully outside of any of my own online content or Patreon. The creators will have their own Patreon or other type of funding for the game, but those are purely a part of their own business model and unrelated to myself. I will not post any of the game-related material here without their permission and will not make it available through any of my Patreon tiers. It will also not affect any of my work schedule here either, since I consider it work outside of my online presence, as it were. So no need to worry there. That's all for the moment. There will be more news about the project in one or two months time.

A bit of housekeeping, part 2.
As of next month I'm no longer doing commissions for the foreseeable future. Although I'm truly grateful to the people who spent their well-earned cash on me, I must admit that I also feel burned out on the commission thing at the moment. I want to re-focus again on what I was known for: obscure '70s and '80s cartoons and anime, Ghibli, Franco-Belgian comic characers. In fact, with the recent warning in mind, I think I might re-orient my Patreon in that direction, really give it a theme and a style. Become a synthwave hentai artist, if you'd like. If may cost me a good deal of revenue in the short term, but it'll certainly put a bit more fire in my belly.

Ok, a bit of housekeeping, part 1.
This week I got a warning from Patreon regarding “underage” content; after discussing the matter, it turns out that the main problem was that my Patreon was linked with my Pixiv, where I do feature such content. So even if my patreon didn't feature any loli/shota material, the association still made it seem as if I received funds for it.
So, as clear guideline for all artists: 1. if you link from or to a site with no objectionable material, no problem; 2. if you link from a site with objectionable material, but your own account there features no such material, no problem; 3. if you link from a site where your own account has objectionable material, problem, even if you don't fund it through Patreon.
Conclusion: I've replaced all my Patreon links on Pixiv by Enty links, and now only link my Patreon to my Hentai Foundry page, which has strict rules against loli/shota anyway.
And it goes without saying that I'm not linking my current comic to Patreon any more either.
