So where've I been... Lessee...
Certain occupational changes in my life have pulled me away from things. Forgive my vagueness, but it's not something I particularly care to discuss. Don't worry, nothing bad happened to me or anyone I know, it's just that I'd rather not spend the next 2 months going over the last 2 months.
On-going changes, yes... As you can all tell, I do have access to the internet finally, albeit through a local 'cyber cafe' thing. Public internet access, yay. This is, unfortunately, my only way to get online. What's this mean? Well, for one thing I probably won't be participating in any real-time drawing sessions, like open canvas or paintchat, for a while. Also, I won't be online nearly as often as I was before my leave.
I do, however, have my precious, if only slightly dated, laptop with me. Also, my tablet resides within my possession. And, yes, I've been trying to work on some new things. I was actually in the process of drawing a refined and even *gasp* clean picture in Photoshop, but I fudged up the background and got pissed at myself. I'll probably cool down and have another look at the picture here when I get offline, and hopefully even finish it today. One thing I don't have, though, is my desktop computer. That's the one all the projects I WAS working on was stored, like the follow-up to the Mushroom picture... Oh well, guess I'll have to start new projects.
And, before I head off for now, I do have a picture. Kind of. The pose is bleh, and very generic, but I was using it mainly to get back into the swing of things... cause, ya know, not drawing for 6-7 weeks might make you wonder how well you can still do it. Luckily, I havn't lost my touch as badly as I'd thought. I won't have as much time now-a-days as I used to, but I will try to get more actual pictures done with what time I do get.
