overall its pretty awesome, except something where Ravens shoulders meet her hair, something is definitely off there. more analysis needed, stand by...

her left arm and right shoulder just look like they are pinching off that part, i dont know how else to explain it.

Well, i probably wont be posting here anymore. Not until I can actually draw... I guess this was the wrong place to start.

You can delete this thread if you wish.

            Jeeze, don't be so mellodramatic.

You have talent, believe me, all you need to do is refine it a little. But you can certainly draw, don't kid yourself.

It doesn't look bad, infact, it looks quite nice. So, just keep practicing.

Oh, its not that. It's just i'm going to keep drawing. I mean i'm sure i'll start posting again when I get better. I don't really like posting my art nest to all these guys lol... , but I need to start and do this the right way right.

I want to be a good artist. So instead of just drawing things to post them. I just want to draw them to get better.

I am kind of confused about your reaction. I don't think that not posting here will have any effect on you becoming better (Or maybe it will somehow). The more places you post, the more criticism you get, the more things you find to improve.

You know what, forget what I posted earlier. I was... "under an influence" and thought I was going to go on an artistic journey. ...

But I will be posting more of my art once I finish some.

All I meant by not posting here anymore was that I felt like my art wasn't good enough and I get really self consience about my work. (everytime I look at it it looks worse ). So thanks for the boost of confidence and look forward to more of my crap lol.

Your artworks pretty damn good especially if you have just started (by this I dont mean a 10 year veteran or something just kinda new at it) Anyway as I said you have talent and your best off posting your work even if your not truly happy with it as most artists are their own hardest critic and getting other peoples views on your works are a major help.

Ive only started drawing again properly for a year (after I stopped in '97), and I draw like a monkey with broken thumbs, but I still let people see my work to try and help me out. Your far better than me! you have a decent concept of bodies you can draw breasts very well (which a lot of artists have problems with).
Not being truly happy with your work is what makes you improve rather than just standing still and being happy with it.

I look forward to seeing your future work!

^_^ Yea. I try not to go on any message boards when I'm laminating my insides with liquid gold. -What? -Drink beer. -Oh.
And I, too, like your style. (And breasts, in particular. Aaah nice and shallow). I'm no art teacher or not'n, but I see in your art what I see in my own work. You're experimenting with different styles. And trying to be a perfectionist while experimenting, can be frustrating. Hm. *Michael Jackson's "Man in the mirror" pops to mind*.
Your talent needs patience and experience. Keep at it, or we'll miss out on some great pictures.

And as for reactions on TJA here... it seems to be very random. Some get 10 replies in one day (and not just the more popular artists), while others... really don't. Reactions can provoke reactions. I think dedication is always rewarded, if not more noticeable.

That is really true. I'm trying to work on not worrying about that sort of stuff. Especialy when you are trying new things. But it's SOOO hard!
