Do you enjoy parody artwork (rule 34?) We've been providing it to the new for over 24 years. It would be a great help if you could consider supporting us over at subscribestar! You can get there via this link https://subscribestar.adult/tjapalsupport , thanks so much for considering, every little bit helps!
I need to practice. But I have to say I draw Brandy better than I do Jenny, I drew Jenny nearly for 2 years and never had a picture turn out like this.
I'm normaly not the one that ses bad stuff, but your art is just to bad to help you..
now, I love to help people, I'v help'd alot, even some here on TJA, but thay all kinda got the whole "construction" thing...
and on another note, on that last pic... is that blood I see running out of Brandy's ...'ehem...
the 7 most important things:
Line
Shape
Volume
Form
Value
Texture
Color

Here's what I see...the way you have drawn Brandy's body in that last pic looks all wrong (you have it drawn in the shape of a teardrop, it should be more like an hourglass*). In addition, I don't find Brandy all that attractive anyway (except for the pix that V.Kyrie made, those are quite good ). Finally, I know that Brandy isn't exactly an adult in the cartoon, but I'm not a huge fan of loli-porn (the way you have Brandy drawn looks like she's too young). Whatever you want to draw is no-one's business but your own, but I just wanted to mention that.
*: If I had the tutorials that Rickfields or Miss Mab did for me earlier, I would PM them to you, but I don't have them with me.
Speaking of Rickfields, I see he's still on hiatus. His artworks are...hehe...groovy. I'd like to see more of 'em. I know Amber is getting ready to move to Canada, so she's been highly preoccupied. Oh yeah, if you're wondering where all the money is going --> http://www.missmab.com. I don't think I'd EVER get that much in donations in my lifetime...and it's not over yet. With all the expenses coming up for Amber with the move and eventual wedding among other things, she deserves the financial boost. I'll just stick with trying to win Powerball. :P
As for Chevelle's drawings, I'm usually not much of a critic. I always say "BE YOURSELF." Not bad for a startout, but as many have stated, it can improved upon. Practice, patience, creativity and imagination.
I don't normally look at let alone comment on the Show Off section cos i'm lazy, but here goes:
For someone who draws very little you're not bad, but if you want to improve, get some 'How to draw cartoon' books (check the kids section at the bookstore) even the cheap ones have the essential basics you'll need to learn. Next, observe other people's art (but try not to copy theposes) and screenshots and try to undertsand how they did that using the basics you learned in the How to Draw book, then it's all about practising. Mentally practisingly, physically practising, practise practise practise. You won't learn or improve if you only draw every other month or year or so.
If you want lots of comments (instead of critique) I'd suggest the Fchan /ah/ section. And if you DO want critique, try the Fchan /crit/ section on for size. Try furry loli-image boards (like Renchan I think it's called) too, they don't tend to be fussy as long as they get to see what they want and you'll be among like minded people.
Who knows? You may well be the next Kthanid.
~V.Kyrie
ps: Most artists I know have been drawing for 10-20 years... usually starting at around age 3-5, and the art usually started gettign decent around the 15-17 year mark. Art takes time, so unless you want to dedicate a good portion of your life to it you may stay at your current level for quite a long time...
pps: And if all TJA artists are snobs who only talk to other artists who're on the same level, I wouldn't even bother replying to most of the regular forum members seeing as some of them don't even draw at all, but i do cos they've stuck around and been friendly and patient. Everyone knows attitude counts when it coems to making friends.; )
ppps:...loli... yeah... keep doing your own thing but suffice to say I wouldn't normally comment on your work because loli makes me uncomfortable; just some insight there as to why some ppl probably wouldn't comment on your art. (better no comments than flames right?)
Your work looks promissing, work on the body and the form of the characters. My pictures would get better if I do this too, but I have a hair line ferature, so I can't really do the poses I want or change poses sometimes.
Does look like he started drawing recently, perhaps as a bid to get attention and praise. So yeah, the board V mentioned would be good for getting attention and possibly praise since they're not really picky about quality as long as they get their fap material. Before you run around demanding praise and "advice" you should probably at least try to get your artwork to a decent level on your own. As val said sometimes people take 10-15 years before their art develops to the point of many of the artists around here.
So yeah, leave. You say you got more attention on some other forums so go over there because we don't give a shit.
