Sort of.  Looks like rom hackers have hacked the NES rom for Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode and restored some in game nudity and the proper Nazi plot line.  It’s no surprise that things change in video games when they get localized from one country to the next.  Well, in the North American version of this title, the main character was an assassin up against the Derk Empire rather then the Nazi’s like in the Japanese version.  Damn Nazi’s!

Well, in addition to that, the player get the opportunity to bed female operatives but lacked any actual nudity and only a silhouette from a hotel room.

My friends… no loner.  With this patch you can see that in the Japanese version the player actually got to see pixel boobs to go with that scene.

I’m siting here trying to get star ranks on all the cups and I’m about ready to throw the game out the window.  I’ve actually made it to the 150cc cups but have hit the wall.  During the races I’m slammed with POW blocks, blue shells, and lighting bolts CONSTANTLY!!  I’m not even safe from green shells, which might as well be red shells with the aim the computer has.  To top things off, when I get hit, every kart the passes me will bump in to me causing me to get pushed off the track.  I’ve never played a Mario Kart that was so unforgiving!

I’m not the kind to back down from a good challenge.  In fact, I love things that make me think and tackle them from another angle to try and win, but this feels unfair to me.  I’m not even trying to get triple star ranks.  I just want a least one star so I can unlock the last bike, and character.  GRRRR!!!!!

What really grinds my teeth is that I play on line and others with triple star ranks and I wonder “What the hell am I doing wrong?!!” o_O

Any tips?

The Tokyo Game Show has just passed and while they showed tons of cool games for the next year there was one that caught my eye.  GalGun.

So today (Sept 13/10)  is Super Mario Bros 25 anniversary.  It’s crazy that’s it’s been that long since video games changed forever.  I remember getting my first NES back in grade school, I was in grade 7 at the time and one of the last kids to get the system in my class.  Oh how that game changed changed my life and paved the the way for a career in games for yours truly.  So many great memories.

Here are two clips to celebrate the day.  One is an over view of the past 25 years of Mario games (no Game Boy games in there though!). Super Mario Bros 2 is my favorite.

The other is a commercial of sorts and to me, it’s absolutely perfect.  I love that there are only the sounds of the person and the plastic of the games and system.  It’s beautiful.  I’m sure we all have memories just like this one.  After I watch it, I got a great warm fuzzy feeling.  Mmmmmm…  just watch and you’ll see what I mean.

Nippon Ichi of Disgaea fame is releasing a new PSP RPG game in Japan this November.  It’s called Criminal Girls and in it you must reform 7 girls that are trapped in hell.  On top of this being an RPG where you mush guide the group of girls from the bottom of a tower in hell to the heavens above, there is a punishment system for the girls too.

It would seem that adult PC game Kud Wafer from Key has an interesting promo item.  Chocolate boobs.

Priced at about $8 bucks a box (with 8 boobs in a box), Kud Wafers can buy some this October.  Or at least they could if they weren’t all sold out.  Looks like people will have to wait for a restock in order to lick some loli choco boobs. ^_^
