There’s a 3DS game in development that’s caught some peoples attention as of late.  It’s called Code of Princess and it’s being developed by Agashima Entertainment.  It seems to be a title made in the Guardian Hero’s style of play, which is a classic four player beat’em up for those who might be too young to remember.

The main character, Solange Blanchefleur de Luxe, is getting most of the attention (for obvious reasons), but there are 3 others as well.  I’ve read the reaction to this game on other sites and it seems to be mixed.  People are offended (or feel that they should be offended) at the way Solange is dressed, but are warming up to the game play.  Clothing shouldn’t determine how a game is going to be.  Here are the four other playable characters.

I’ve also stumbled across some rough art too for the main character.  The artist is Nishimura Kinu, and she’s been an  artist and designer for Capcom for a number of years.  How she got on to this project I’m unsure, but I’m not complaining.

So far, no publisher has come forth to bring this one to our shores.  I really hope someone does as I would love to pick this one up.  Looks like the game will also have online battles and quests.  That’s pretty damn awesome if you ask me.  Curious what this game looks like?  Check out these screen below.

What I really love about this title is that the developer is pushing the main character on people.  Even to point of having a large, gorgeous statue made of the main poster.

I don’t know about you, but I’m totally keeping an eye out on this one.  I really hope that it get picked up over here.  If it does, I’ll totally pick it up.  I wish I could pick up that statue too, but it costs more then I’d like to spend.  Booo!
