Email Reply

One thing I fail at is keeping contact with people or sending a reply to an email.  I usually have the best of intention in replying right away, but I often end up putting it off and sometimes forgetting entirely.  I don’t mean to and I’m sure people think I’m a jerk for not getting back to them.  I would think so too to be honest.  I’m doing my best to correct this in myself.  If I get an email, I respond as quick as I can (I hope I don’t miss any).  I’m also here to say that if you’ve ever not received a reply to an email you’ve sent to me, I’m truly sorry.  I hope to turn over a new leaf with this bad habit of mine.

How are you with replying to emails?

Normally, I’m pretty good at replying to e-mails, unless it’s my mother, then I ‘save for later’ then never read it lol

usually, unless i’m in a hurry, when i check my emails if it requires a reply i do it while i’m looking at it, since i’m there any way.

Most of my email is spam. The ones that aren’t I try to respond to in a timely manner.

What John said, but with the addition “when I remember to check my email.” I’m getting better at it though…

Unless there is a pressing reason (e.g. work, family matter, friendly get-together), I’m pretty terrible at responding to email. I think part of the problem is that I’m unsure whether many of the emails that I get require a response. I tend to not err on the side of caution in these cases.

I’m pretty bad about even checking email, let alone replying to them.
Maybe once every two weeks, if that.
