Artist Showcase: Arsemaus
So the other day when I was checking out my fellow artists here at TJA, I found this one. His name is Arsemuse and when I saw the art he has produced, I was instantly loved it. The things that struck me the most was the way he draws eyes, the line work of the piece and the fun poses he has.
All the characters are adorable and in such fantastic poses. It’s not always easy to pose cartoony characters. They usually have strange proportions like larger hips longer legs and such, but Arsemuse seems to do it with ease. Something I see that I could learn from him.
The line work he has is also fantastic. Is see such confident lines and shapes in everyone of his pieces that it makes me jealous. It makes me wonder what kind of art background he has or maybe he’s self taught. What ever the background, everything in his gallery makes me smile. What can I say, I’m a fan and I’ll be following this one from now on. I hope he starts putting up new art soon.  I’ll finish this up with some of my favorites from his gallery. Enjoy ^_^

I’ve always preferred cartoony characters to ones that are too realistic. Just cuter that way.

Yeah, I love me some Arsemaus! He drew me a great headshot of Scarlet I just love to peices.

Had to note that You, alongside with Arsemaus are making cutting-edge artworks both in terms of posability, as well as originality,each which it’s unique, lovely way. ^_^
