Free Gift

I got a package in the mail today.  It was my free gift for being a platinum member at Club Nintendo’s reward program.  It works like this, every time you buy a Nintendo developed/produced/endorsed product you get a code.  You sign in at the site and enter your code to get points.  Those points tally up and once you get over certain amounts, you get a rank.  Over 300 gets you gold status and over 600 gets you platinum status.  You can also use those points to get free Nintendo things.

Anyway, this is what I got this year.  Fancy, plastic, shiny playing cards.  Neat-o!

They’re even semi clear!  Not sure if I’ll ever use them, but I sure do like looking at them.

Last year I got a collection of Super Mario Bros buttons.  I’ve never worn any of them, but again… I sure like to look at them.  It might sound like I buy tons of Nintendo things to get these gifts but I really don’t.  They just accumulate throughout the year and before you know it, you get a free gift for your troubles.  Anyone here a member of Club Nintendo?  Quick, check out the games and systems you have.  You might be sitting on a ton of points. ^_^
