Secret of Mana.  I remember renting it from the local mom and pop store and not really caring for it.  Even though I’d read reviews saying how awesome it was.  I just couldn’t get in to it.  Fast forward to 2013 and I still get people going in to shock when I tell them I didn’t play it nor did I like it.  As of late, I’ve been thinking about giving it another go.  Maybe I’ve grown a little and I can see it for what it is now.  I could go and get it on virtual console… there’s also this great retro game store on the way in to Toronto.  I know they would have it.  I feel like I owe it to myself to try it again.

Any games you couldn’t get in to even though the whole planet love it?

So who’s got their tree up?  Anyone… anyone?  We put ours up on the weekend as we watched the Toronto Santa Clause Parade.  I will admit, it does seem a bit early.  But if I put it up at the beginning of Dec, it would feel really quick when I would have to take it down so there’s no winning really.  Well, it’s up now and I’m sure as heck ain’t coming down until after Christmas.  How about you?  When do you put up your tree/Manora or other holiday stuff?

Feeling like I’ve not drawn enough Ariel drawings, I took it upon myself to do some rough sketches of her.  Some aren’t too bad, some aren’t so great.  I think I should work on this a bit more.  I do loves me some sexy, red headed mermaid. ^_^

I wholly believe that more products need to have pin up girls on their packaging.  Someone needs to make this happen.

The other day someone I know said they saw me walking home from the bus stop and said I didn’t look very happy.  I didn’t notice them (they drove past me) but I don’t remember being unhappy.  I was probably deep in thought of video games and smutty images.  It did get me thinking about our “neutral” faces.  The ones we have and show the world as we go about our day avoiding talking to others.  I would agree with my friend and say I probably looked like someone that was kind of unfriendly.  Most of us do.  Check it out next time you’re out.  I’ve since been making an effort to look at little bit happier as I go about my day.  I don’t have a beaming smile, but I am more conscious of the image I’m presenting to others that I pass during my day.  I’m only 36, I don’t need to look like a sour puss right now.  I’ll have my later years for that. ^_^

Over the last few days it’s been snowing on and off and as of now we have a nice light covering over most things.  Yay!  I love the snow!  I know most people up here complain about it, but I really enjoy it.  It makes everything so pretty and I love being out in the cold, crisp air.  Do you live in a part of the world that gets snow?  If not, have you ever seen real snow?  I can’t imagine not having snow at some point in my year.  I think that would make me sad.
