Woo! After much time, I’ve finally finished all the line work for the Tinkerbell folio! I’m so excited to start painting this. And not in a “I can’t wait to get this done”. I’m genuinely excited to put my skills to work on it. Yay! In fact, I’ve already started to paint the first one. I am glad about it that I’m not tired of this one bit. I love that I’ve gotten pretty good at drawing Tink and I even look forward to doing up another one possibly after this one. Well, back to painting!
What are some songs that you just never get tired of no matter how many times you hear them? I listen to music while I work some times and it dawned on me that I’ve listened to some of these songs for 20 years! One of those songs is Are You Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz. I still remember rocking out this in high school. Another is God Gave Me Everything I Want by Mic Jagger. I discovered this one in the early 2000’s but I totally fell in love with the song. Ironically, this one also has Lenny Kravitz in it.
There more the few that I could list off next, but this one is my favorite of all time. It’s the Barenaked Ladies cover of Lovers In A Dangerous Time. No matter how many times I listen to this one, I just end up loving it more. I remember staying up all night long at a friend’s house and watched a Much Music special on the BNL back in the early 90’s. To me, at that time in my life, it was just perfect. No Lenny in this one though… I’m fine with that. ^_^

Here is the commission contests winning drawing! She requested her character on the chair that I’m always using. I think it came out pretty cute, if I must say so. If anyone is wondering why the chair looks small, it because the character is close to 7 ft. I didn’t screw up my proportions. No more than usual anyway. ^_^
This was fun to do. I’ll have to do another contest in the future sometime.
As I mentioned before, I’ll be at Disney on my birthday. Which means we have to fly there. Well, not really I suppose. We could drive, but that’s just extra vacation days I’d be wasting. But regardless, we will be flying. Knowing that makes me kind of nervous. I’m not petrified or crippled with fear, I’m just a bit uneasy about it. I’ve flown before. I flew to California for E3 a few years ago, and we flew to Disney the last time too. I know people do it all the time, but I still don’t care for it. I’m afraid that the plane is totally going to fall out of the sky. If I where in a car accident, it would be quicker, but in a plane I’d have to sit there and wait for the impact… and my death. I won’t let it get to me though. I won’t let me fears being me down in any way. Besides, I’m sure everything will be fine… I hope.
