This page introduces the new female characters other than Raven and Jenni.

Before this, Chelsea (short hair), Melica (black hair) and Jessica (shaved side of her head) only knew the guys in passing. Raven at least know them by name, and Chelsea and Jessica were already friends before all this.

The extra girl is just a random innocent bystander caught in the tentacle crossfire. I figure we'd need at least one random person, not everyone can know everyone after all.
