I know Sari was created as a Jab mascot. But who came up with her? What inspired the cute cheetah serval mix?

I know Sari was created as a Jab mascot. But who came up with her? What inspired the cute cheetah serval mix?

Technically, she was created to be a tag along for our original mascot.. When we moved to Josephine she became her own character. Since the original mascot was a cheetah, Sari kept to the same style of cat. I'm sure V.Kyrie could say more, as she came up with Sarina, but that's the jist of it.

When TJA originally had a Cheetah-girl mascot, there were restrictions on what could be done with her, ratings-wise. Thus, stunt-vagina/barely legal nymphomaniac teenaged tag-a-long cheetah was created to do all the fucking and sucking in her place. This implementation never actually took place except in a handful of pictures but then Jo was created and Sarina didn't REALLY seem to fit as well (and the focus moved to drumming up interest in Jo)...and I had other projects that needed attention as well.

I think I made her ears big as a (cute) quirk, which lead to jokes about her genepool which quickly became canon.

And so for the next few years Sarina's personality stewed and evolved in the back of my mind until she became the cheetah-serval you see today... obviously there's still a lot about her that hasn't been revealed and may even never be revealed, but in my mind at least she's a fairly vivid character behind the smiles and the sexuality.

I must say, I'm a big fan of Sarina's perkiness. She actually seems like a genuinely nice person and not a tease as some people might be. More or less she comes off as wanting people to feel nice.

The "flash cotton" gambit was brilliant, BTW.

Oversexed is in the eye of the beholder. I think of Sari as just being sex-positive. And I can tell she's not stupid either. She simply enjoys sex and from where I sit there's nothing wrong with that. She does seem like a very nice person to me. Sari's become probably my favorite character thus far (though really I like all of them; they have a neat set of personalities).

I've been lurking on Cats N' Cameras for several weeks now, and I've just thought of something. Does Sari look to anyone else like she has Aspergers?

I have it, and she reminds me a LOT like me earlier when I didn't have the right meds. Maybe that's just my interpretation of it. That said, Sarina has to be one of my three favorites (the other two being Jo (Of course) and Manila).

I don't know too much about aspergers and the one person whom I've met who claimed to have it acted nothing like her.

If you reckon that's how she's portrayed, s'fine by me, though it's unintentional. : )
Mainly she's full of energy and has a one track mind due to hormones and youth. Any new thoughts tend to get caught up with her main thought track and get a bit warped on the way out.

When you work with high school students like I do, you become kinda inured to it. So if everyone had my job they'd be fine.
