Re: hmm...
Any kind of bio-research has a vicious circle. I can't stand the thought of animal experiments, specially now that we own pet rats which we cherish dearly. On the other hand... my wife has had a (very successful) heart-transplant.Originally posted by spydermonkeystem cell research... the answer to everything... figures
Medically, we'd be a hundred years back if it wasn't for animal experiments. Either way a thought that bothers me.
Somebody once wrote a poem about lab rats... I'll try and find it.

Okay, I've finally reached a decision. I think it would be interesting to experience life as an anthropomorphic animal, but only to see what it was like, nothing perminent. Like Mab and others have said the social and medical reasons it wouldn't work are too great for it to really be feasable - things I've thought about before. If man is willing to mass murder eachother based on just skin colour or historic background I doubt anthromorphs would last very long.
I would hope most for a society of both humans and furries that have lived together for a considerable amount of time. People seem to be more accepting of things they've known about for a long time.

I'd like to take some time and point out there has actually been a TV series that goes into the ramifications of such an occurance: http://www.toonarific.com/show.php?show_id=1412

Oh hell yeah, if you have patience and are in the right mindframe and are attentive to subtleties within the show... this show is great. XDOriginally posted by FurryMormonCrap I can't find it anywhere! Based on some of the quotes I've seen it looks funny.
Gary the Rat: "Yes, mother. I know the respirator is old, but you're not going to need it much longer. We'll talk soon."
(Hopefully the posted quotes aren't all teh best ones formt he series e.e; )
Should be available on DVD, I thoguht...
