Which is stupid, because there was nothing wrong with the mechanics. Although having a traditional story would benefit it greatly. If not done well, just like how Mass Effect 3 happened, the backlash is so massive, Valve saw that can happened if they don't do well with Half Life 3. HL3's storyline must be super max quality or else, even a 4.5 star rating can still bring the whole thing down, HL3 is probably like the Game of the Century and not sure when will the topic ever die out.
Valve ain't gonna pop out games randomly, except there was the time they rushed Left 4 Dead 2 in the past, and there was a backlash which caused L4D1 gamers the fear that the 1st game will not to be supported later on.
But of course, Half Life 3 is not needed today because Valve is making lots of money mostly from their other own games like DOTA & of course, Steam & its promotions.

Not really surprised that Nintendo is stopping production on the Wii U the console wasn't a massive hit like the Wii and never really sold that well compared to the PS4 and Xbox One. Considering how MS messed up their release of the Xbox One and Nintendo still couldn't out sell it with the Wii U it was never going to be a success especially with third party developers like Bethesda and CD Projekt avoiding the system. One thing that AlphaOmegaSin failed to mention is that Nintendo's new console will be competing against Sony's PSVR which I mention because rumors are that the NX is going to be a console and a handheld.Originally posted by Ferretlord View PostComment

Not really. I'm sure they'll make some deal that'll let you trade in the Wii U for cash towards the NX. But yeah, it's kind of why I didn't hop on the Wii U train.
