Controller Snapping Rage

What’s the hardest game you’ve ever played?  Was it cheap in it’s design or was it a genuine challenge?  I’m currently playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for the GBA (as a 3DS download) and it’s probably the hardest thing I’ve played in a while.  It could be the way I’m playing it though.

To start things off, it’s a tactical style game where your units are magicians, knights, assassins, cavaliers, archers, etc.  All this that is very cool, but as you start the game, you’re told that once a unit has died, you don’t get it back.  They are gone forever.  Which wouldn’t be so bad except that every unit is a character that can play apart in the story or recruiting others on the maps.  Which is the only way to get new units.  So when one of them dies on the battle field you better believe that the game gets reset and I try again.  What sucks is that you have to start that chapter/battle over again as you can’t do any kind of save during the fights except for a quick suspend that gets deleted when you load it up again.  I’ve played some maps over and over again so that no one dies.  I could just let them die I suppose, but knowing that I can’t get them back… well… I just can’t let that happen.

I’ll see it through to the end.  It”ll be a challenge for sure, but I just can’t walk away from it.  I’ve been waiting to play this game for years and now that I have a chance I don’t want to give up on it.  Have you ever walked away from a game because it was too hard?

Polymorphous Perversity

As soon as I saw this indie game, I had to post about it.  Polymorphous Perversity is a full on XXX RPG with old school graphics.  The game sounds sort of a interactive experiment in the players sexuality.  Where most games elude and dance around the topic of sex, this will put you right in the thick of it and let the player explore their own decisions regarding sex, both the fun side and the very dark side of desire.  But lets not forget that this is still a game,  RPG to be exact.

Pee Games in your Home

I can’t remember if I ever posted about this before, so here’s a little back story.  Back in 2010 SEGA was rumored to be making some urinal based games.  You played these games by peeing, as one normally would, in a urinal.  In there would be a sensor that measured how fast your pee was.  Apparently there where three different games, one where you would erase graffiti, one where you made characters shoot milk out of their nose and one where you could blow girls dresses up.

Well those rumors where true and they where installed in over 130 bars across Japan.  But now you too can own this device in your home.  SEGA is selling the hardware for Â¥140,000 (US$1,747) , the mini games for Â¥10,000 ($125) a piece and a Â¥10 coin box for Â¥25,000 ($312).  So… you know… you could make some money on the side as you charge your friends to pee at your house.

Dancing eyes cancelled

Way back in 2008, post #262.  I did up a review of an adult Mame game called Dancing Eyes.  It’s this crazy puzzle game where you run this little monkey character around this grid on the clothing of an anime chick.  If you’re able to make a circle back to your starting point and make a box, the clothing there will disappear and revel some of her under garments.  Oh, and don’t forget to avoid enemies because they will end your game real quick.  You can read my full review here.

Senran Kagura, the 3DS game with sexy ladies with big boobs, is getting a promotional product to go along with it’s sequal.  A box of tissues.  You know… for clean up.  Now that’s knowing your audience. ^_^

It’s only $.99

I’m always looking out for game deals.  I love finding a game that’s been marked down to a crazy low price so I don’t have to shell out $40 bucks.  With that in mind, you’d think that I’d be all over the games on in the Apple’s App Store.  Nothing could be further from the truth.
