Okay, I just found out this cool thing with Google Maps/Stret View.  Now we all know that I’d love to go to Japan some day… well until that day comes I’ll use this to pretend I’m there right now.  Apparently with Street View you can virtually look around some of the streets and areas around the world.  How awesome it that eh?

I have to be honest and say I toured around the streets of Japan for quite some time when I found this.  It made me so happy ^_^  I ducked down little side streets and gawked at all the buildings.  So many buildings…  It was great… I’m actually still smiling as I write this.

What music are you currently listening to?

I’m listening to a variety of Canadian artists like Blue Rodeo, Jann Arden and Tragically Hip. Although I do enjoy my Green Day, Offspring and The Pillows.

What did you today?

Did you go to a Rib festival in a local city? I did ^_^ Yup, we packed up the family and traveled to London Ontario for RibFest 08. Now I’d never been to anything like this before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew there would be ribs… but beyond that it was all a mystery. We got there around noon or so and checked out the small midway they had going for the kids. It wasn’t bad, not as large as a fair but okay. The farther in you got though the more they had set up.

Ever look at a picture and think you see something in it that triggers something in your mind and makes you think of something else…  Like ummm… I was checking out game screens for a new Aliens game and I saw this screen shot.

Now is it just me or does the face hugger look like it has… um… lady bits…  I think if I was one of these space marines I would be like.

“AARRRGGGG!!!!  DIE MUTHER FUC- hey that looks just like a- MMMMRUUUFFFFRRRRUUFFFF!!!”

Think you’d like both mixed together?  Well there is now Figumate versions of just that.  Cute little female versions of Snake, Raiden, Ocelot and Otacon.  Why you ask?  Why not.  Supply and demand?  Well what ever the reason, they exist just waiting to clutter up someone’s shelf with utter MGS4 cuteness.

What do I think?  I think they’re cute ^_^  But I’m cheap so I’ll just admire the pictures… which can be found here.
