In "How Time Flies" Manilla picks up an old photo and looks at it. Three of the people in the pic are obviously Manilla, Sari, and Sari's now-absent father. But is that Jo hanging on to Sari's father's arm?

I kind of got the impression that Manilla knew about Jim, Jo and Sari, and felt she was safer getting it out of her system with trusted friends. But that sort of makes Sari's panic in the recent strips funny, as Sari frantically tries to keep Manilla from seeing her vibrator, dildo and KY...

Acctually the characters in that photo are from left to right , Manila, Sarina about Age 9/10 Jim at abotu 17/18 and Jo at about 13/14. neither Jim or Jo have ever met Sarina's dad. She hasn't seen him since she was about 4 which was when Manila moved into the neighborhood.

None of them have ever mentioned it to Manila, and Manila really has no reason to think about them that way, they've all always been there for each other, and that's pretty much how she sees it.

Oh? But back on 6/4/09 in this thread you had said otherwise:

"Manila knows, it's sort of a silent acknowledgment of Sari being we safe friends rather then any boy she decides is hot enough to poke at. Jim made it a point not to hide anything from Manila, and a very early on point never to hide much of anything from Joyce. "

*shrugs* Not a major issue, as the comic works well either way.

Jim doesn't hide flirting with Sarina, but he's not gonna have Manila a DVD of Sarina and himself, and he's never told her, or acknowledged to her what they do, I have no doubt Manila knows they may fool around.. but I don't think it's a concern of hers as again they've known each other for years and years.
