New page of CS is up. Not as many as I wanted to do (only 1, actually) but I had trouble getting away from family this week. I'm also early in the 'pack up all your stuff' stages of moving, so there's that. My apologies for the low page output this month.

Gotta love Helga's very much in-character reaction to all the girly fun, though she is not the only one missing the best part of this scene. Despite the cuteness of Tootie's sudden realization and Timmantha's sweaty worry, the sweetest part is what's happening right in the middle of it all: Veronica directly joining in and carefully tending to a very happy Goo. Even if she isn't excited about it, it's clear Veronica is taking special care. Tootie must be having a hard time keeping still when she's so happy, but her pose and how she's steadying herself speak of her effort. Perhaps all that thinking made her want to take part, whether to change for the better or as a distraction from unhappy thoughts of the past.

Thanks for another lovely and even moving page of this great tale. Don't worry about the pace at all. Seriously, you know that we're quite happy to wait as long as it takes.

Oh wow, that's a lot of depth you've added to Veronica's character! I love what you did to help explain the way she acts in the show in a realistic and relatable manner. Buut she still has a bit of psychotic tendencies to keep us on our toes.

My God. . . I nearly felt my heart stop when I saw TImmantha in that dress. And I thought when she was just in Sam's t-shirt she was adorable, but this brings it to a whole other level. It really speaks volumes both in terms of the story as well as the meta of the art itself. Story-wise she looks incredible because she got a bit of a makeover from Tootie, but it also shows how much your art has improved and progressed all these years.

Can't wait to see more Mr D!!!

New pages of CS up; nothing lewd, but there is some cuteness.

Capturing both her views and her expressions as the hospital flashback ends expresses her feelings nicely while bringing the exposition to a close; nice transition back into the cabin as she finished pondering her issues and decides to take her medication. Switching to Timmantha getting to "feel pretty" for the first time lightens the mood beautifully, and I love your designs for relaxed Tootie and Goo; their style decisions for Timmantha are fantastic too.

I'm a bit intrigued as Goo breaks Veronica out of her trance, since this would be a great opportunity for Veronica to join in and pump the little brunette for more information.

It's all so cute, and all so serious too. Though I love Timmantha and all the "girl stuff" going on plenty, the way you introduced Veronica's arc way back in March 2009 still impresses me. (Hmm, apparently some people were coming down a bit hard on Veronica's parents about that at the time. It reminds me how much there is to unpack in all of this. )

Anyway, thanks for carrying on with this great story for so long.

(Now that I look again, it's probably because I'm not used to seeing Tootie with her hair down, but she almost looked like one of the girls from the dodgeball game. Somewhere between Yolei and Phoebe.)

Also a nice callback to Goo's makeup ramble going on in the background.
