The other day I picked up Space Invaders Extreme 2 on DS for $6 bucks! I’ve heard good things about it and so when I found it I thought… why not? After a few plays, it’s safe to say I like it. It’s fun, easy to pick up and play but, there seems to be some depth to it. If you dig old school games with a modern twist I say pick it up.
What’s the best game deal you’ve found?
I finished Aliens: Infestation for the DS the other day and I thought I’d share my experience with the game. I’ll start things off with saying that my opinion on the game tips one way and then the other. How so? Let me explain.
So wandering around the internets as I often do has turned up this sexy little title for the 3DS. It’s being published by D3, developed by Intense and is called 女ã®åã¨å¯†å®¤ã«ã„ãŸã‚‰â—‹â—‹ã—ã¡ã‚ƒã†ã‹ã‚‚ã—ã‚Œãªã„。 or in English (google tanslated English) “This might lead us to the â—‹ â—‹ If you are in a closed room with a girl” (game site). The basic premiss that at can tell is that is a love/date game where you are trapped in a locked room with girl. Why you are there and what is beyond the door is not really clear. What is clear is that these girls you are trapped with (5 in total) have huge boobs.
There’s a 3DS game in development that’s caught some peoples attention as of late. It’s called Code of Princess and it’s being developed by Agashima Entertainment. It seems to be a title made in the Guardian Hero’s style of play, which is a classic four player beat’em up for those who might be too young to remember.
The other day my son asked if he could play my Mario Kart DS. I said sure, I had no problems with that. Later he calls me over to show me what he doing in the game. I instantly noticed that certain drivers where missing. After a quick investigation I discovered that he had gone and erased all my data for the game. o_O All the karts… gone. Drivers… gone… Everything was as if I just took it out of the box. Sigh… oh well. It’s not a big deal. It’s only a game, and I wasn’t mad. A little sad, but not upset. So, we’ve begun the task to try and unlock everything… again. It’s not the first time he’s done this. He erased my daughters Zelda: Minish Cap save game too. She was mad about that for sure. See, he’s only 4 and just starting to understand words. He knows “yes” and “no” and he knows how to press buttons, but always not the purpose of said button. Oh, well. He didn’t mean to and it would ridiculous to punish him for such a trivial thing.
Have you ever lost a game save due to a niece, nephew or sibling? Or, have you ever deleted one on purpose just so you could find everything all over again?
My son as of late has gotten in to Pokemon. He watched an episode last week and was totally hooked. Even his older sister watches it with him. I never watched the cartoon back when the original was on. I was in college though so that might have something to do with it. I did play the games though. Own Pokemon Blue for GameBoy and Silver for GameBoy. I played the crap out of Blue and even caught all the Pokemon for the thing. I slowed down on Silver though. I felt like I had just played this game and so the drive for catching everything was gone. I haven’t played another one since.
Now that my kids have taken an interest in the current generation of Pokemon, I find myself looking at the show kind of sideways. So, there’s this trainer that goes around and captures animals, trains them to fight against other animals and trainers. Oh, and he/she keeps them them in a small animal home when they’re not fighting. I’m pretty sure you can get arrested for that sort of thing. ^_^ I’m not about to stop them from watching the show. Heck, I watch the show with them and I enjoy it too. I just think it’s funny that 13 years and 2 kids later I look a Pokemon now and think… really?
