Have some time to kill and want to play quick game of something?
Check these out.
It’s a collection of simple browser games featuring a cat. That’s it really. The games are simple and the cat really doesn’t represent anything other then a character for the player to use as they play the games, but man are they addicting. Seriously, the cat will be in one game on a ball, balancing on a rope trying to collect gems. In another you’ll be be using a fan to blow a balloon (and the cat) around spikes or making sure the cat doesn’t fall off a pole as you try nd get him to the goal.
My favorite though is cat cave. The cat will follow the cursor around as he swims around the deep looking for pieces of a triangle. It’s just too much fun. ^_^
The look of the games a super simple with only 3 colours and are all pixel based. Total win in my design books.
Run over and take a look. You’re bound to find one you like ^_^

Who loves Mega Man?
I do ^_^
So with this post I’ve found a number of links to all things Mega Man. Yay!
First is a clip for the opening of Mega Man 9. It’s all kinds of classic 8 bit goodness and makes me smile every time I watch it. And I love the Chun-Li cameo too. She’s too cute in Mega Man style ^_^
Next are a bunch of clips from Mega Man 9 where the music and sounds where swapped out for human voices.

Yes… I’ve watched them all. ^_^
A music video about not being able to defeat Air Man. It’s in Japanese so here it is also in English.
Finally… some guy has put lyrics to the theme tune of Mega Man 3… AND I CAN”T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
That is all…

Well it would seem that the wall has come down on that naughty tentacle homebrew DS game that I mentioned a while back.
The Comic Market preparation committee has canceled Team-DSX’s registration so that means that they will not be able to sell it at this years Comiket. Boo!
Nintendo has actually taken legal action against the R4 (a flash cart used for DS homebrew) due to piracy issues in Japan. One has to wonder if Comiket made this decision on their own or if Big N strong Armed them in to it. Looks like the web site for the game is also down so it might not even be sold in Akihabara as originally planned as well.
I doubt this is the last we’ll see of it though. There is always the interent distribution… and torrents. ^_^

Ever look at a picture and think you see something in it that triggers something in your mind and makes you think of something else…Â Like ummm… I was checking out game screens for a new Aliens game and I saw this screen shot.

Now is it just me or does the face hugger look like it has… um… lady bits…Â I think if I was one of these space marines I would be like.
“AARRRGGGG!!!! DIE MUTHER FUC- hey that looks just like a- MMMMRUUUFFFFRRRRUUFFFF!!!”
That all I got tonight… just thought I’d share my discovery ^_^

Like Metal Gear Solid 4?
Like Loli?
Think you’d like both mixed together? Well there is now Figumate versions of just that. Cute little female versions of Snake, Raiden, Ocelot and Otacon. Why you ask? Why not. Supply and demand? Well what ever the reason, they exist just waiting to clutter up someone’s shelf with utter MGS4 cuteness.
What do I think? I think they’re cute ^_^ But I’m cheap so I’ll just admire the pictures… which can be found here.
So what’s your take on the loli MGS4?  Yay or Ney?

Okay… this totally made me smile when I found this out. Apparently in Japan they have sexy type English leaning games. I wrote about it here. Well, it would appear that this game has a lower age rating then Soul Caliber IV. In Japan, the CERO (Computer Entertainment Rating Organization) rating for SCIV is “C” which is for 15 and up, but Moe Sta is rated a “B” which is good for 12 and up.
What makes this all the more amusing is that the ad for Moe Sta features one of the characters in the game nude but covered.

Wow… I wish they had language tools like this when I was 12. I’d probably know 8 different dialects by now. ^_^
So there you have it… in Japan (and most places in the world I think) violence gets a higher age rating then sexy. Damn you North America!
shakes fist~
12 year old – “Mommy, can I have Soul Caliber IV for my birthday…?”
Mother – “No… but you can get Moe Sta instead.”
12 year old – “…sweet…”
^_^
